Composer In Manchester

Steve has two studios: one in Clitheroe Lancashire, and another in central Manchester. But he also has experience in composing alongside visual producers and DOPs at their location. This has proven to be an especially collaborative way of working. SSOUND trialled this workflow back in 2015, using a portable sound production studio during the track-lay phase at CVT Broadcast. A close unity was formed between creatives on both the video and audio aspects of the production processes.

For remote / virtual / over distance projects, SSOUND’s Manchester studio has up to 50mbps (download) and 10mbps (upload) fibre internet supplied, for fast turn around of audio and video. Regular meetings via Skype and FaceTime are also standard practice, to ensure we hit the sweet spot of the director’s brief.
